Born as Norma Jeane Mortenson on June 1st 1926, she became the most famous of Hollywood starlets and was often referred to as the “blonde bombshell” and is still considered an icon today. Marilyn was also an intelligent and philanthropic woman, who strived to become an accomplished actress. She passed away in 1962 at the young age of 36. She is laid to rest at Westwood Village Memorial Park Cemetery, in Los Angeles, California.
