Light Antivirus for Windows 7

Hey everyone,

I have a beautiful Eee PC 1008p, but with a Dual-Core processor and 2GB RAM and it has Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit.

It runs really fast, but it needs a light virus protection. It has to be light because the performance has to stay fast and you can still surf the Internet relatively safely in 2024.

There are Windows Defender and Microsoft Security Essentials, can I still use them in 2024? If so, how should I update these programs?

If they outdated or bad, what is your recommendation?
