Eluna and the Moth console bug

I’m playing on the ps5 and just got to the 2nd chapter of this campaign. No matter what I do, whether it’s recruit a person, scout another territory, prepare defense of current area, within the first 30 or so days of the campaign, it ends the chapter and wants to move to the next chapter without having done anything towards the goal-Clearing areas and saving townsfolk. Is this a know bug to the dev team or being worked on for a patch? Is there any work around?
