Black velvet alocasia fertilizing?

So I just found out indoor plants need fertilizer. I have a new leaf coming in and I know that when you have new growth it’s time to fertilize especially with alocasias because when new leaves come in old leaves die off? I just bought fertilizer but I also just watered my plants. Do I water them again with fertilizer or wait until they dry out? I just don’t want my leaves to die 😂. For reference I also have a golden pothos, Schismatoglottis, peace lily, monsteras, pink princess. Most have new growth and some are being grown in water. Do I fertilize that too?
