Just finished D196... my thoughts

I just took my OA for D196 yesterday and passed on my first try. I wanted to come on here and give a different perspective of this class because a lot of what I originally saw was negative or "scary." For context, I have zero accounting experience and have never taken any accounting courses prior to this one. I read ALL the material (did not skip anything) and took all of the lesson, module and unit quizzes. If I missed a question on any of the quizzes I made sure to figure out why the answer was incorrect. Lastly, I typed out thorough notes as I went through the content (essentially just retyping the main concepts of what I was reading.) Going through all of the course content took me a little over 2 days. I immediately took the PA after finishing the course material, passed it, then took the OA a few hours later. I personally felt that the PA and OA were nearly identical in difficulty level. Hope this helps!
