Tough texture substitute?
Hi, so I’ve been vegan for almost 10 years now and find it pretty easy and I’m well adjusted now. However at the moment I’m having the strongest cravings.
I find myself unable to feel satiated after eating no matter how much I eat. I feel like I am craving meat (maybe I need more protein atm?) but also it feels like my body NEEDS that tough/chewy texture of meat. It grosses me out to think about!
I feel like most vegan meat replacements are quite soft and squishy but can anyone recommend any vegan food that might be tough? I never had steak but I imagine it’d be something similar to that.
(Also I’ve had my bloods done recently everything showed up fine so idk what’s goin on)
