Snesitive skin & silicone tape

For those who have really sensitive skin did the silicone tape bother you? I had an allergic reaction to having my drain tubes in, I have reactions to bandaids, surgical tape etc. Usually paper tape is my best bet but only for short periods. Scared to try the silicone tape, worried I will mess up a calm scar with a rash. Thanks!
