AITA for taking a cheese wheel??

Found a bunch of cheese in a room. Im fucking starving so i take a whole wheel. Few hours later, after i get past the minotaur on the 4th level, this guy comes up to me with a knife screaming that i took his cheese. It was just there and nobody was in the chamber. AITA??
