INPUT THREAD: 2/24 - 3/2
Updates on Last Week's Requests
- Earthworm flair (Suggested by Disguised_WV_Beetle): Done
- Lower the threshold for citizen's repeals to pass to a simple majority (suggested by Sea_Afternoon_8944): Well, I disagree with this, mostly because the rules are meant to stay and I think it's a slippery slope to try and repeal a bunch of them. The 2/3 requirement makes sure that if anyone wants a rule to be repealed, it has the overwhelming support of everyone. You could start a citizen's amendment for this though.
- The chiefs should have won the superbowl (Suggested by alternatehistoryig): No.
- "This was an unfair election and I was unfairly disqualified. LEAVING!!" (Suggested by luv4kevv): Ok
- Make everyone run for re-election in early 2026 for a 1 year term (including perma mods) (suggested by One-Scallion-9513): This is the current plan that is in action for mod elections, and I think it's staying unless everyone changes their mind.
- Add a no drama rule (Suggested by TheReturn34): I'd support this in theory but "no drama" could be a slippery slope and also somewhat abusable. If it passed a citizen's amendment and the regular one then we could figure it out.
This week
This is the input thread for the week of February 24 to March 2
The purpose of this thread is to offer input into how this sub is run or offer constructive criticism on the way it is run. On March 2, I will review all of the comments and seek to implement as many of the reasonable ones as possible. I will try to reply to every comment.
I am looking for:
- What you would like to see be done in the sub over the next week
You can suggest other things besides that
