Dress code

Hey guys, I know it’s policy that you can’t wear any bracelets, I have a very dainty permeant bracelet that is tight on my wrist that I obviously can’t take off and no one at work has said anything abt it until today. My manager said I have to cut it off. I told one of my coworkers abt it and she said that was crazy and that I can prob call someone At Starbucks to get reimbursed for it since they are expensive. Is this true?
