Stanford and Marcus break up

I watched the two SATC movies way before i watched the series. I just finished all the seasons of satc and now im realizing that Stanford and Marcus got back together when he Stanford found out that Marcus was an escort, so why is Stanny married to Anthony in one of the movies? When did Stanny and Anthony get together? When did Stanford and Marcus officially break up? dont remember it at all.
