Old boyfriends

Anyone else only date people a decade older or more? Not on purpose and never ready to settle down, the worst was being engaged to a 38yo when I was 26, I feel like I disappointed each one of them by eventually wanting to be single again, but I learned a lot from all those old boyfriends, like about experimental film or how to separate with kindness and friendship or how to sober up or about James Joyce, by example and by what not to do. Most of them treated me so well, one in particular it became obvious why women his own age steered clear, basic stunted late bloomer, but honestly the other four were lovely. I love old boyfriends. Now I mostly see guys my own age, I'm not that young anymore.
