I need to take my snake with me immediately

Hello. The renovations started in my house and I just remembered that my snake is still in the living room in his tank which is bad because the construction workers are painting the whole kitchen. I guess they are using water based paint or something like that. My dad told me the construction workers said water based paint shouldn't be harmful just unpleasant to smell. My mom took my dog and my cat to my aunts house just to get them away from the strong smell, but my snake is still there. I guess it reeks in there and I am worried about the chemicals that my snake is breathing in. I am in the rental house right now and I'm wondering how I'm supposed to take my snake over here. He is at least 5 ft long stretched out and his tank is extremely heavy and cant be moved and transported quickly. I was wondering if there is a way to take him to the rental without the tank...idk if this means buying a smaller enclosure or keeping him in the bathroom or what. I just need to do something fast and honestly I am super scared and i need to get back to my house and get him asap. Help pls
