R.E.M.’s Best Songs by Compilation: And I Feel Fine... The Best of the I.R.S. Years 1982–1987

Yesterday’s winner: We All Go Back to Where We Belong

On voting styles: OK, so, it’s clear that some people are voting only for tracks that are unique to a compilation, whereas some are casting their vote for their actual fav irrespective of whether that track has appeared in an earlier ballot. I just wanted mention out that both are OK, we benefit from the mixed data! I also want to point out that, for example, Losing My Religion and Man on the Moon don’t always have the opportunity to go toe-to-toe, so there’s a whole new dynamic. Anyway, vote your conscience.

See final Album track list above, and don’t forget to vote for your favorite And I Feel Fine... The Best of the I.R.S. Years 1982–1987 track!

Again, vote for just your fav from each, or tell us your top 3 or 5 or even your preferred ordering of the entire track list, whatever you feel is relevant—this game will be shorter by about half so why not try and generate twice the data? In any case, be clear about your first choice as it is the one that counts. Winner will be by simple plurality.

Voting guidelines:

  • One comment = one vote.
  • Nested comments count.
  • Upvotes do not count.
  • One vote per person.
  • When mentioning multiple songs in a comment, a preference must be specified or the vote will not be counted.
  • Entries must be submitted by 12:00 P.M. PST the following day.
