Ideas for a senior project

Hey guys, I am stumped on what to do for a project. We wanted to build a game but our teacher was like, “games don’t get jobs”. so we were sad, but our only other option is a boring react template with a backend. I guess i don’t understand what a senior project would be besides an admin facing or customer facing business portal.
