Baby’s first Japanese denim

Thanks to this group, I made sure to visit a couple shops in Tokyo. I went to Japan Blue Jeans Shibuya, which was in a really cool part of town. You could tell how much more fashionable people’s everyday outfits were compared to the other areas of Japan that I visited. I also went to the Flat Head shop on Harajuku street. I ended up buying two pairs of pants and one jacket from Japan Blue Jeans since it was a bit more affordable and this was my first purchase. The Flat Head shop had some great stuff. We stayed right at the Shibuya Crossing, and both places were a short bus trip away or walk away.

I’m of the short, wide variety, but I feel like my pants and jacket fit well. My thighs are pretty thick, so I stuck with the straight fit. I did try on a size smaller in the jacket and didn’t like how tight it looked. They of course hemmed the jeans no extra charge. I’ve seen a few other people post about being in Japan around the same time as me, so that’s neat.

Thanks again to this group for the guidance, and I will leave way more room in my suitcase for the next trip.
