should I take pre-med classes even if medical school may not be my main goal right now?

Right now I am interested in majoring in neuroscience and intend to become an academic professor/lab researcher. Maybe go into industry. However I am just worried if this career is right for me and if this is something I would really enjoy, especially as I heard it can be difficult and pay isn't great (prove me wrong if that isn't the case)

So I have been thinking of another career path which is radiology. I would need to attend medical school and do all the pre-med stuff in college.

My point being: can I take pre-med classes even if theres a chance I do not apply for medical school (and instead enter grad school)? Would you recommend this path?
