If you are struggling with being tired…

Earlier in my first trimester, I shared how defeated I was with feeling constantly tired and needing midday naps. Even though extreme fatigue is common in the first trimester, I still felt exhausted well into the second trimester.

I decided to start taking magnesium supplements, thinking I wasn't getting enough in my diet. The difference was noticeable. I wasn’t as tired after meals. Then, after a recent blood test, I found out my iron levels were significantly low. I started taking iron supplements, and honestly, with the combination of magnesium and iron, I’ve been feeling so much less sluggish!

I’m sharing this because I wish I had started both of these sooner. Of course, always consult your doctor before making any changes to your supplements or routine.
