Couch to 5k while 5 months pregnant?
Hi! I am feeling so good at this point in my pregnancy. I have started going back to the gym and doing the stationary bike. Before I got pregnant, I completed the couch to 5K program and was running a few miles a day. The first trimester of my pregnancy was so awful so I had to stop working out and my doctor put me on pelvic rest for unexplained bleeding. Since around 15 weeks I’ve been feeling so good so I started moving more and more. Now at a little over 19 weeks, I really want to run again. I have soo much energy and need to expend it. I absolutely love running and I’m wondering if couch to 5k program would be safe to start back up?
I will ask my OB when I get the chance as well but I just want to see what other people have to say. If it’s a definite no then I won’t even bother asking lol.
