Switched from Xbox - PS5 keeps turning off

Just switched to PS5 after over a decade. Last one was PS2. Am I missing something. Brand new out of the box on Christmas PS5 kept turning off after 30-45 minutes. Thought it was overheating despite the cabinet being open in the front and back. Moved it to the top (outside) same issue.

I exchanged the PS5 for a new one, there was no issues and it happened today again after an hour in. It will say entering rest mode then turn off. Settings are appropriate too.

There’s no way a modern gaming console has such issues.

I have a ps5 with disc. Not enclosed in a cabinet. Sideways config with the proper stand
