PNY 4070 super ($599) vs Sapphire 7900xt ($660) usd.

Building my first PC. I have everything other than GPU and do not want to wait any longer. Will be paired with a 7800x3d cpu.

Will be used for mostly simulation / single player story controller games on a 144hz OLED 4K TV.

I know 20GB would be better for 4K native and I plan to keep either card for 5+ years. My question is with NVIDIA’s DLSS, is it possible the 4070s could last just as long if not longer than the 7900xt? I have tried a friend’s 4070s and I could hardly tell a difference between native and DLSS quality. With FSR I can tell a difference.

Obviously the 7900xt is far superior in raster and VRAM, but when the 7900xt struggles at native 4K in some titles and would need the use of FSR, would I be better off with the 4070s and DLSS?
