Adding more protein in diet
I have been adding more protein in my diet (trying to get 100g a day) and tracking and measuring everything I eat. While it’s tough (for me, maybe not for you) to get all that protein without drinking a protein shake, I find that a lot of these protein rich foods have a lot of fat. Example: nuts, peanut butter, edamame. And with that, I am going over my “fat” goal for the day. Any suggestions on adding more protein without adding more fat?
Also, I’ve only done this for a month and while I don’t see any changes yet, (my fitness pal app says I should be at my goal weight in 5 more weeks) I feel this will help my muscle growth and overall health. Any feedback is welcome, thanks!
