"Tricks" to the Learners Test

Aight, so im late 20's and ive taken the learners test once when i was younger. I "know" a lot of the road rules, mainly cause they are common sense things and being front passenger you also subconsciously pick it up - even went "hey parent, you know thats technically illegal" or "hey you didnt indicate here when you should have" and you get the "huh? what? thats bs" and later you pull it up and they go "oh, when did that change?". There was a driving test app thingy from memory and i'd always have, generally speaking, passing scores with the odd one throwing a curveball question - mainly ones like tire tread depth and it gives you 4 answers all 0.5mm difference.

HOWEVER

I don't know what clown ass decided to make the Drivers Tests due to the fact that you get Trailer Questions. Now, whats my problem with Trailer Questions... you can not be towing a trailer on your learners license, so why am I getting questions on something I can not legally do? Its fair if it chucks me a "Can you use a trailer on your learners: Yes, No, Yes between X and Y hours, Yes if you have a marker on your load"

Also have a rant about the most "correct" answer - where there are two technically correct answers but ones more correct than the other.

Aside from my annoyance at the trailer questions and the more correct answer, are there any tips/tricks to the Learners Test? I've heard that the longest answer is the correct one.
