Finished the LN FINALLY
I'm a slow reader and don't like to read, it took me almost 2 years to go from vol 1 to 26, but it wasn't constant progress, last year I read from 4 to 22. Think I hold the record for the longest read time for this series.
Anyway the point of this post is that for 2 years MT has always been at the back of my mind, a thing that I could fall to if I really had nothing to do, but now it's gone. I read story 1: the last dream and bawled my eyes out (usually don't cry irl) and I couldn't tell you if I was sad cause rudy dies or if this was the last time I was gonna read a story from his pov.
I said in a previous post, I've spent so much time with MT running idle in my head that I've grown attached to him, even tho I knew that the real story began after MT and the whole point of the series was world building, I was coping so hard thinking about possible plots where rudy comes back in the second part and he is the one that deals the final blow to the man-god. Kinda like Dragon ball, the author didn't like Gohan real bad plus the fans wanted to see Goku back that he decided to resurrect Goku and forget about Gohan, even tho z was supposed to be Gohan's story.
I'm sure I'm gonna be pissing a lot of fans off here but: for me Rudy will always be the true main character and he should have been the one to become super OP and deal the final blow and the very end.
