Customers who come in after close

I work in a Cafe in a fairly touristy area. During my shift today it was just me in the shop and an older man comes in with his wife asking if we are still open. I had just flipped the sign but I thought I may aswell take his order since it had only been about 5 minutes. He asks me if he can sit down to eat and I kindly respond by telling him that "we are actually closed" and he looks at me with a disappointed look on his face.

Since it is a small business that needs all the money it can get, I give in and tell him, "Look, I can let you sit outside and I just won't clean up that area until you have left, is that fine with you?" The man says, "yes that's ok, thank you very much" and sits outside.

Once everything thing is ready, I bring his food and drinks outside and he doesn't say thank you because he is on the phone. Fair enough. I go back inside and begin the closing procedure.

About 45 minutes later I check outside and they are still there which is kind of annoying. As I'm looking, the man makes eye contact with me and raises his hand for me to come over to his table. Reluctantly I walk over and say "what can I help you with?" The man asks if his wife can use the toilet (which I just cleaned) and I say yes because I don't really have a choice.

The both of them, the man AND his wife both proceed to use the toilet and then he has goes the extra mile and asks me for some water before they leave. Its been about an hour past close at this point and they are still here so I really just want them to leave.

I give him some water and he drinks about 1/4 of the glass then leaves it on the counter and leaves the shop without even saying thank you. I was kinda pissed at that point since now I was staying longer than usual to close just to accommodate these two and would most likely miss my bus.

I begin to bring in the tables and then the man comes back in, doesn't acknowledge me and makes a b-line for the toilet. Five minutes later he leaves and AGAIN doesn't acknowledge me. Dickhead.

TL;DR - Customers come in after close and act like they own the place, staying for over an hour after close without any appreciation.
