Limo instant camera does not eject film

A few years back I was given the Lomo instant (Panama edition) camera, and it has honestly been one of the best cameras I’ve ever had. However, now it is having issues ejecting film. The camera will turn on without any issues, and when I release the lever the flash will go but no picture will come out, the camera also does not make any noise to suggest that the film is just stuck. I’ve replaced the batteries and film but I am still having this issue. Does anyone know how to solve this or is it the end for my camera???
