Raglan Question

Hey gang,
I am working on my first raglan and I'm about 3 inches into the yoke. I was doing a little googling on a different problem I was seeing, and noticed that you are supposed to increase every other round when making the yoke. I must have missed that in the video I was watching because I've been increasing every round. I'm assuming this means my sweater is going to be expanding "horizontally" faster than it is expanding "vertically". I would rather not frog my work- this is my first project so I'm definitely ok if its not PERFECT. But I am wondering if anyone has an example of a pattern that does inc's every row so I can see what it might turn out like.- and maybe if y'all have opinions on if I should just keep at increasing every row, or switch to every other row while I'm already halfway through the yoke.

thank you!
