Why is RAAS so much more popular than AAS?
I rarely see servers running AAS which seems odd to me.
I would think AAS would provide more strategic approaches to matches as seeing the objectives would allow squads to plan out how they want to position themselves/FOBs in each game.
RAAS doesn’t really seem to lend itself well to planning out approaches at the start of the match (which we get 3 1/2 minutes to do). As their is only one point on the map meaning there isn’t much to discuss.
The only other thing you can do in RAAS (besides capping the obj) is to roll the dice and build a FOB in an area that might be completely obsolete, which is more of a gamble than an actual strategy IMO.
Just curious what you guys think about this.
