How not to binge during eating window?

I have been doing IF on and off for two years now and love it. It has really helped me control my weight and I have seen my cholesterol levels go down and overall health improve.

My big problem, however, is that I have a really hard time stopping eating during my window. For example, let’s say I fast from 7 PM to 11 AM. After I break my fast at 11 AM with a healthy, protein rich meal, I end up snacking and eating all afternoon and then not even being hungry for dinner. It seems like it usually starts with me wanting a sugary pick me up after my meal and then I’m just grazing heavily all day. For example, I’ll break the fast with an egg white omelet with toast, then wind up having a yogurt and granola fix a half hour later, then snack on crackers and cheese, then have just a small cup of pasta, then a couple pieces of candy, and so on and so forth.

Does anyone have any tricks or recommendations for me? I know that if I could just stop eating after that first meal and not eat until dinner, I could lose those last 10 lbs and feel much more energized and healthy, but it’s like I cannot stop myself…..
