Home assistant placement strategy for best reach and latency zwave / zigbee.

Hi all.

I’m planning my new house being 178m2 modern house with a lot of concrete and metal in the ceilings.

Is there a way to have the best reach and quickest response for zwave and zigbee devices. Is it smart to place my home assistant machine central In the building or is just using enough devices to create a strong mesh enough.
