Never built a gokart, opinion?

I plan on putting an LS in my 1988 e30 325ix but the engine coming out i have nothing to do with.

Thought of the bright idea of building a go kart with it. Will this work for a little go kart? I know it’s probably a stupid idea but that’s the fun part.
