Glasgow City Council cancel Glasgow Women's March on Sat 18th January.

Really disappointed that a women's march, one of many taking place throughout cities across the UK has been cancelled from taking place by Glasgow City Council due to:

1) The deconstruction of Christmas lights. 2) Health and safety concerns. 3) The scheduling of two other major events in the city centre at the same time....?

Police Scotland had already given the go ahead for this event.

What two major events are taking place?

Really disappointed I won't be joining my sisters on the 18th.
