AC Shadows will actually sell and not flop, here's why I think that

While I know lately AC games haven't been the greatest, and Ubisoft is right now in big shit, and if AC Shadows flops it might mean the end for ubisoft even with all the controversy around this game, I'm positive it will sell.

The other day I met with one of my long time friends who is also a gamer, keep in mind we're both 31yo, and he's a bit busier than me in life, the subject of AC Shadows came and he said he was hyped for it (It's in Japan! Naoe gameplay looks cool! I got bored of AC valhalla midgame, etc) And that's when it clicked inside me, this game will actually fucking sell.. He wasn't at all aware of the forced inclusion of Yasuke, not all the controversy with the Tori gate, and basically all the negative around ubisoft recently (stock crash etc), didn't care, still hyped.

This game will reach the masses, we the informed people might avoid it, because let's be real, Yasuke gameplay is utterly thrash when he gets blocked out of half the game mechanics, but the vast majority will get the Japan bait and AC brand name and get it.

This is just an opinion though

Tl:Dr: the masses don't follow the news regarding a company, nor the controversies around games, ac shadows will probably sell well and not flop.
