Aether Extrait Smells like sick?

Just got my hands on a bottle I’ve been looking forward to so much, I’m a sucker for a good bottle design so had to pull the trigger on this. The reviews, bottle design, pressurised atomiser, it seemed like a slam dunk.

I was aware from reading reviews that it needs to macerate, and may be very weak to begin with. But mine has a sick twang to it, like a vomit twang. Please tell me you’ve had this and it just needs to masturbate because wtf 😭
