I just want to be helpful
I (28F) went to college for fashion design with an intent on going into costuming. That worked out very well for a few years! I worked for Disney for a bit before COVID (and then...y'know COVID), worked as a costume designer for a resort for a few years before they cut the department, and now I find myself in an admin role in an unrelated industry due to wanting to stay in my home state and there not being a lot of costuming opportunities. So basically everything I've done in my career up to this point is kind of irrelevant.
I actually found myself loving a lot of parts of being an admin! I really like being able to just help out my team in little ways every day! I get a ton of fulfilment in being generally helpful!
This company is not going to work out for me in the long run and I'm seeking another job. I suppose my question is: other than administrative assistant, what other roles can I look at that will fulfill my desire to be helpful on a regular basis?
(Sorry for rambling)
