Service story I just remembered
Funny story This was in 2012. I was in service with a fellow pioneer and she asked me if I could take her to run an errand. She had a car but we were doing return visits and were near a place she needed to pay a bill. She had bought a car from a used car lot and she was excited to make her last payment and get the pink slip. She owed $800 and was going to finally pay off her car. I pulled into the parking lot and she got out and said “I’ll be right back”. About 5 min later she came out and said “let’s go! Go go go go go go go!” I’m like ??? Okay girl, I’m going. We pulled out the parking lot and she said “take me to t-mobile right away.” I’m like? What’s going on? She proceeded to tell me “the receptionist who works at the car dealer just gave her the pink slip but never asked for the money. So she just walked out and nobody stopped her. I guess the boss was on lunch and the receptionist clearly made a mistake. Not even 10 min latee one of the people who worked at the dealer was calling her phone trying to get her to bring in her last payment but it was to late because they gave her a signed pink slip. So the car was legally hers. She wanted me to take her to T-Mobile so she could change her number because they were going to keep calling her. So in short a sister robbed a car dealer and I was an accessory to theft. 😂. She kept saying “Jehovah knew I needed this money. This was such a blessing”
