JW Doctrine Is Christian Brainrot
Christianity has inspired saints and sages, and some of the most celebrated people in the history of the West. There are many deep similarities in the teachings of Jesus with those of Buddha, Socrates, Plato, Taoism, Zen, etc.
After watching some of the Annual Meeting, I had the thought that JW leadership is going in the opposite direction: adjusting people to ever more infantilizing and idiotic reasoning and insisting they can’t question anything. They used to complicate their doctrine to sound impressive, now they simplify the shit out of it to dumb people’s thought processes down. What a miserable way to live.
Do you still consider yourself Christian, and what do you like/dislike about Christianity as found in the NT?
