Chain problem on etrike

Ugh. Bought a rad power trike. The small chain slipped off. When I try to get it back on, the pedals kind of clunk and slip then the chain comes off again. Looked everywhere I can think of for the fix. Help?

Sadly, I will have to be talked to like I am a 3 year old idiot, or a typical reddit user.
