Accident due to negligence

Can I sue a company or the driver if they crash in to my car due to negligence? Sure the insurance will pay for the expenses for repair, but my car’s value will fall down by a lot. My car was parked and this trailer reversed in to my car, he was getting his Tyre changed. When he parked he knew my car is there and everything. When he was about to leave he randomly put the trailer in reverse and crashed in to my car. So what more can I do besides the police report to someone recover my loss?
