What do you think of Cassandra as a character?

I'm rewatching series 1 of New-Who. I forgot about Cassandra, the 'last human'. I can't tell if I think her character is funny or stupid. More depth is given in a series 2 episode. Do people generally like or dislike her as a character? I'm not really active in the fandom so I don't know.
