Levemir to semglee

Who has transitioned from Levemir to Semglee (or Lantus)?

Levemir is being discontinued so I decided to move ahead and switch.

I am going with a 20% reduction to start, and will use Novolog to balance until I get the dosage dialed in.

Was the 20% reduction close for you?

I am also considering whether to continue the twice daily I use now. After dialing it in Levemir worked best for me at 27u morning and 8u bedtime.

With the semglee being more flat without the peak just don't know if it's necessary or if a 50/50 split would work better.

Just looking for your personal experience as I work through this.
