What are the biggest dust collectors?

I'm allergic to dust and really trying to declutter. I've noticed certain things seem to cause/trap more dust. For example clothes stacked up/folded, things on the floor, items that are in limbo being moved about in the house...

What have you noticed really gets in the way and traps dust?
