Changing from drive to reverse

Sometimes when I want to reverse, for example into a parking space or driveway, I pull up and try and change to reverse and the car refuses to change. It refuses any command in fact. As I’ve changed out of drive it ends up in car limbo so I’m unable to move at all. To get around this I have to open and close the door which resets the software. Does anyone else get this issue?
