For those of you with the ability to live anywhere, where did you choose and why?

For those of you that have the freedom to live anywhere that you want (so long as a decent airport is close enough), where did you choose to call home, and why?

Currently I’m in Columbus OH and looking to make a move. Would like less cold/snow/months of gray in the winter. Can’t decide where to go, I guess because it’s wide open and there’s too many options. Would love to hear if anyone else has made a choice with similar ability to pick anywhere and how you decided where to go?
