Pausing strict carnivore
Hey guys, my last time posting I dont have any good nutritionist or doctor near me so im asking here for some relief and possibly answers. Only thing I talk about with my doctor is my symptoms and medication and when i ask about food she just says she doesn't have any proven research that food can fix an autoimmune disease (ulcerative colitis in my case). I was strict for 7 days, literally only ate meat, salt and water and although it provided some relief for my intestines and I can tell some pain went away I developed serious diarrhea and my abdomen is swollen to the point where i have really bad back pain and i think it comes from stomach but im still not sure about the source, it could be anything sice my whole abdomen is swollen except my lower left ab, looks really funny. It's rock hard and painful to the touch. I feel like vomiting all day and the feeling is terrible, i lost my social life... I think im gonna stop for now or at least im gonna base my meals around leaner meat with other easily digestible food. I didn't rush to carnivore, I was slowly removing carbs but I think now it's not a good time for being that strict. I really wanted to try 90 days but I'll explode if i continue. Carnivore is not a problem but my stomach and intestines and basically whole digestive tract are in so much chaos and it just doesn't fit. Im also almost 6'5 and 138lbs and im constantly losing weight so thats another reason to stop because i was 187lbs before my disease started and now im skin and bones and even sitting on the chair hurts my back. I'll try with some sibo yoghurt and banana for the start, maybe avocado, ill try more bone broth, and see how it goes... If you have any other suggestions, maybe to fix something, add something I'll greatly appreciate all tips 🙏
