Tesla Model 3 vs Toyota Camry Hybrid vs Honda Civic Hybrid
Looking to purchase a new car. It will be used to drive to work and run errands. I currently put around 20k miles per year on my car. We have 2 kids, 1 still in a car seat. Our other car is a Honda odyssey, so this car doesn’t need to be as spacious, and doesn’t need to be able to go on long trips.
We like to buy cars and drive them into the ground. We want something with good reliability, and we’d like to be able to pass this car onto our 10 year old when he turns 16.
The cars we are most interested in are:
2024 Tesla Model 3 ($36k. 0.99% APR) 2025 Toyota Camry Hybrid ($33k, 4.99% APR) 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid ($29k, 4.9% APR)
Any advice? We aren’t super tech savvy people so we are concerned the Tesla could be frustrating for us (test drive was fine). Also concerned about longevity of teslas. I know Toyotas and Hondas are typically longer lasting cars. But dang, that Tesla was super cool.
