Scene It had so much potential and lost it

So many people, myself included, love quiz videos/games and I have been making it a goal to collect as many scene it’s and play as many as I can but I just got the most recent one and it’s terrible.

1: You have to play off a tablet or phone so hopefully you have a smart TV to cast to it for enjoyment with multiple people (which is pretty much needed to play the game). You get a code to download the app and plug in the specific box’s code that you bought so once you plug in that code to an account you make you can’t resell or give away the game. The mort stupidest idea ever.

2: The cover of the box has images of modern movies I love. Like mean girls, clueless, ghost in the shell, etc. Just popular, modern movies. I just played with my fiancé and majority of the questions from My play/all play were braveheart and Love story. Two older movies I don’t care for. I went through all the cards and kept playing my play for the clips and never saw an advertised film. You could say that’s on me for not knowing two major films but that’s not on the cover or advertised. They reused clips over and over so sorry for spoilers but your answer will probably be braveheart or love story. The godfather if you’re lucky and the game decides to really throw in a curve ball for you /s. I can’t imagine we missed many clips or questions either because in one play through and the clips already started repeating.

They could easily just have difficulty settings, genre setting, or have some kind of updates to the app or game. Movie Scene It is easily 1/5 stars for the false advertising and ESPECIALLY for making this undonatable because the code affiliated with our box.
