Quality Yarn -- new audio drama
My audio drama, Quality Yarn, is live on Spotify (and most everywhere else.) I'd love it if you would give it a listen.

This is the first episode of an anthology series. It's comedy/horror (though not particularly scary) with a lot of music.
"The Chicken Story" seeks to definitively answer the question: Why did the chicken cross the road? It's also a tale about navigating through religious trauma to find purpose in a world where you feel different from everyone else, all set to a synth track.
First up, though, is a short called "Gary." Hi, Gary! Gary, it's me!! Gary!!!
Here's some inside-baseball info about the pod, since I know there are a lot of professionals and others who know their stuff (better than me) in here. I made this by myself. I wrote the script, made the music and sfx, did all the recording/mixing, and performed every voice myself. This wasn't my intention going in, but I was having trouble getting schedules worked out with potential actors for a different script, so I started making this in the meantime...and then it took over. I don't plan on using just my voice in the future, though. I like writing female characters too much.
I made this on my PC with Cubase13 Artist and an Alesis V25 midi keyboard. I'm not a trained sound engineer, so there was a lot of learning involved and still a lot of learning left to do.
I'd love to get your opinions on it.
