do boys prefer looks or personality?

okay so im not the prettiest girl and i feel like that puts boys off. i get put in the friend zone half the time and thats pretty annoying. i get told im ‘like a sister’ to them. so i feel like as much as boys say that they prefer personality, they are really only looking for the pretty girls. this was a bit of a rant too, sorry!
