How to get matric transcripts from yonks ago? Early 2000s
Hi guys!
The country I'm in does not accept UNISA degrees for degree equivalency (because of distance learning) so my last hope is to get my matric diploma equivalence. Otherwise, I effectively have zero qualifications and that means I can't study further and will lose my current job once I'm officially rejected (my degree is still being evaluated, so just a matter of time now).
Since I'm not in SA atm, I'm trying to figure out how to get both my matric diploma and transcripts (I plan to make a trip back when I can).
I graduated in the early 2000s twice, once at an IEB school (grade 0 - 12) and since my grades were poor, I redid some grade 12 subjects at Damelin Eden Randburg (which I think is NSC?).
I called the IEB school, they're saying they don't have any records pre-2020. And Damelin I can't get a hold of (but also unlikely to have any records).
Since I want to use my Damelin grades, from what I understand, I can get an NSC cert issued by the Department of Education. I can also get my IEB cert too if needed. But the problem is I have no idea what to do for transcripts.
Does anyone know where I can go or has anyone experienced anything similar?
